Inquiry and Interviewing Skills
Develop your listening and inquiry skills to a level you never even imagined possible!
In business training, little is usually taught about interviewing for precise and specific information. Many professionals are taught different types of interviewing questions and methods, but very often they do not produce the answers that the interviewer desires. Little is taught about how to get to the specific information you are seeking when an interview question does now go where you had hoped it would. Thus we often skip over very vital information a client is giving us during a conversation or interview. This can also be the reason for significant communication difficulties with particular types of people.
This 2-day workshop will help you develop your ability to get very specific information during any type of interview or questioning session, while still maintaining rapport. These skills can be utilized in a huge variety of contexts, including with family and supervisees.
Students will learn:
- A completely different way to interview a client
- New language distinctions and information-gathering skills
- How to get your questions answered, and how to make it abundantly obvious when the client does not wish to answer them
- Uncover specific and targeted information more easily and quickly
Come and learn some new language distinctions that can change the way you listen to people forever.
