Cognitive Design
Cognitive Design is a strategic set of rules applied to page layout that makes any
information easier to understand and assimilate. Based on principles from cognitive learning theory, it makes learning (or evenmemorizing!) a page of information an easy and enjoyable task. By learning to organize information in a way that matches how our brains organize our thinking, we can create strategic page layouts that communicate a great deal more than just information. This training is very useful for managers who generally communicate with employees through written memos, for making policy and procedure manuals clearer and easier to reference and for helping departments and individuals communicate more clearly.
Benefits:
- Learn very specific and strategic rules for constructing clear and concise graphic and page layout
- Learn a new way to structure tasks and information
- Clarify instructions and information to be learned
- Adapt information to a wide variety of learning styles easily
